Position Description - REMOTE

As part of our SRE/DevOps team within Sparta Systems, you will be part of a team working with a diverse range of State of art technologies. You will be contributing to the Design, Automation, and Maintaining Sparta Systems infrastructure platform with Security, Resilience, Reliability, and Repeatability as primary moto to achieve and exceed set KPIs. You will operate with similar freedom of a start-up, but with the support and security of a well-established, profitable, and market leading organization. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Contributing to Infrastructure as a Code platform
Upgrade, enhance and maintain container platform
Build and maintain a specification of our operational setup
Collaborate with architecture and development teams during design sessions
Automate and develop infrastructure deployment strategies, testing, and support of deployments
Monitor existing platform for proactive capacity and performance issues and planning
Participate in 24x7 on-call rotation

YOU MUST HAVE
4+ Year's Networking experience; Linux Administration, (Red Hat / CentOS)
2+ Years of hands-on in Kubernetes and container orchestration including debugging issues related to networking, storage, scheduling
3+ years of experience writing terraform code for automation and scaling.
WE VALUE
Experience in languages such as Python and Shell Scripting
Experience in Infrastructure and Application Monitoring (ELK, DataDog)
Bachelor of Science in Engineering or computer engineering
Design, develop, automate, and continuously improve platform services and pipelines, such as monitoring, alerting, logging, tracing, CI/CD, etc. Additional Information
