JOB SUMMARY: This position is considered a hybrid role within product management with an emphasis on both the technical and functional aspects of integrating products with organizational solutions using the latest technologies. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for understanding the organization's product offerings and design of innovative solutions around integration products. Leads the product through all stages of the product's life cycle including definition, development, release, and post-release activities Works in a cross-functional capacity to assist with product readiness. Determines and maintains system/software requirements through an in-depth understanding of customer and partner needs. Responsible for environment set up and configuration to define use cases and user stories to support the product Evaluates and prioritize requested product enhancements. Supports rollout plan for new features/functionality, release updates and execute cross-functional implementation of plan collaborating with product, marketing, sales, and support teams. Articulates customer needs / pain points into meaningful features, user stories / requirements and Acceptance Criteria. Performs functional validation, documentation and able to communicate clearly with various internal and external stakeholders. Acts as a primary contact to clients and/or partners as required. Participates in projects and performs other duties as assigned. Occasional business travel may be required. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: N/A KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Strong functional knowledge on Finance business process such as: Quote to Cash, Procure to Pay and Accounting. Implementation or Product Owner experience in designing integrations with major ERP financials applications such as: Oracle eBS, Cloud ERP and/ or Workday Financials. Certified SAFe Agile Product Manager or Product Owner preferred. Tax Technology experience is a plus. Familiarity with cloud/SaaS offerings, and/or experience in the middleware market with strong technical acumen. Strong analytical skills and passion for analyzing products/competitors. Ability to make decisions across multiple opportunities and/or priorities. Strong presentation skills for external presentations to various sized audiences. Metrics-oriented and customer focused, with a strong interest in speaking with customers regularly. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Highly motivated, self-starter with exceptional organizational skills. Quick learner with a "roll up the sleeves" approach and incredible attention to detail. Relentless optimism and strong work ethic. A proven track record of success in a fast moving, technical environment. Must be detail-oriented and able to manage multiple projects and be customer-focused. Strong product management experience. Excellent interpersonal skills to work with internal and external stakeholders Proven ability to meet tight deadlines and handle complex problems with minimal supervision. Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages is required. EDUCATION AND TRAINING: Bachelor's Degree required in Computer Science or related discipline. Four (4) plus years of experience as a business analyst or a product owner in major ERP, or Financial systems. Experience working in an industry that has indirect tax touchpoints is preferred but not required. Previous experience with SaaS, Cloud solutions is preferred but not required. Or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
