REMOTE Creative & Digital Director

The Creative Lead will help lead the development, execution, and ongoing optimization of brand creative to be utilized across various owned marketing channels and website.

Description

  • Evolve and iterate on an elevated, cohesive design ecosystem that ensures brand consistency across all touchpoints-including packaging, digital product, email, paid & organic social, OOH, and retail, including brand campaigns, printed collateral, shipping material, store graphics, and beyond.
  • Lead a team of designers in developing new creative concepts, in line with our internal messaging and business priorities, that build upon the established brand identity and offer resonance across various demographic and psychographic profiles.
  • In collaboration with a team of developers and growth & brand marketers, deliver pixel-perfect digital product design solutions that contribute towards keeping the ecommerce website a best-in-class & top converting ecommerce platform.
  • Understanding and implementing a cohesive look and feel across all channels, including:
    • Optimize and streamline the packaging process with mindfulness to scalability and ease of ongoing improvements-always keeping in mind the customer experience
    • Content produced & directed by the brand for new & existing products
    • Brand storytelling moments & performance marketing assets
    • Website landing pages, content, and assets

Profile

The ideal candidate will have a passion for visual storytelling and exceptional art direction, typography, and layout design skills. This role will inspire, generate, and develop ideas that are strategically informed, channel-agnostic, and deeply integrated between all brand touchpoints, including print (packaging, mailers,OOH), digital (customer acquisition landing pages, email marketing), and experiential (retail displays, in-store signage, brick & mortar).

This individual is ideally a creative powerhouse that can seamlessly work to elevate & reinforce the brand's visual identity across print, digital, and experiential.

  • 5-8+ years of experience in leading projects in collaboration with a team of creatives across brand design, photography/video, experiential, and digital; DTC brand development experience a plus
  • 2-3+ years of managing in-house & external creative talent
  • Deep understanding and appreciation for design system-based thinking that can help build documentation for others to develop on-brand creative
  • Expert in the Adobe Suite (Photoshop, AfterEffects, InDesign, Illustrator, Premiere)
  • Strong organizational skills, keen eye for detail, and ability to manage multiple projects at once
  • You're a detail-oriented, systematic thinker who strategically designs toward a larger brand narrative while also considering the minute, thoughtful details that will delight our customers
  • Experience leading, growing, and fostering a team of designers with an eye toward organizational structure and individual development
  • Strong, dynamic portfolio of projects that have elevated a brand's total experience-demonstrating exceptional knowledge of packaging design, experiential
