The ICF Next Cloud, DevOps, and Managed Services team is seeking an experienced Technical Writer. This new role will help support a cross-functional team working on application development, maintenance, and support of public website on behalf of our Client. This role will be focused on developing technical documentation, process flows, user acceptance testing documents, etc. Additionally, in this role you will have the opportunity to work ICF stakeholders to help set documentation standards for our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
· In collaboration with the Project Manager, plan, track and manage all documentation requirements across project teams.
· Support Project Managers and Team Leads in materials development, documentation structure, and research inquiries.
· Engage with Subject Matter Experts to support the development and peer review of clear, concise, written documentation in the form of plans, procedures, guides, and roadmaps.
· Ensure the requisite documentation is maintained, and current, to meet regulatory compliance.
· Define and implement document style guides and standards for all documentation deliverables.
· Ensure content and look-and-feel consistency across all deliverables.
· Maintain versions of documentation under configuration control.
· Assume ownership of project tasks and, with oversight from senior team members, complete key deliverables.
Position Requirements:
· 2+ years experience performing technical writing for complex website related project or system.
· 2+ years experience in systems modeling, data flow diagraming, and defining/refining business and functional requirements
· 2+ years of experience creating networking diagrams
· 2+ years of experience creating infrastructure related entity relationship diagrams
Desired Skills:
· Foundational knowledge of cloud Computing.
· Experience working in a fast-paced software development environment.
· Experience with website compliance such as WCAG 2.0, Section 508 and American with Disabilities Act (ADA)
Preferred Professional skills:
· Expert in Microsoft Office products.
· Excellent verbal, written, organizational, and project management skills.
· Ability to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines at the same time.
· Ability to quickly grasp technical concepts and make them easily understandable in text and graphics.

Pay Range – There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final salary for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position. The salary range for Colorado is –
$66,658.00 – $113,319.00
