Responsibilities for this Position Location: USA VA Home Office (VAHOME) Full Part/Time: Full time Job Req: RQ139316 Type of Requisition: Regular Clearance Level Must Currently Possess: None Clearance Level Must Be Able to Obtain: None Public Trust/Other Required: None Job Family: Systems Administration Job Description: GDIT is seeking an entry-level System Administrator to join the GCIO Collaboration Services team who will support enterprise collaboration applications, SharePoint, OneDrive, O365 apps and other collaboration tools. This role is responsible for working daily tickets that are assigned to the Collaboration Services team; provide support to all enterprise application users through training, documentation, and troubleshooting; perform testing during routine application maintenance, create sites, provide project support as needed and complete ad-hoc tasks. This role offers a remote working environment or if you prefer, you may work out of a GDIT office. A Day in the life Daily support for OneGDIT request and issue tickets assigned to the Collaboration Services team, will be part the round robin that will automatically assignment tickets, expected to meet ticket service level agreements Provide technical and training support for SharePoint, OneDrive, O365 Apps, and any other collaboration tools assigned to the Collaboration Services team Present demos and provide updates during Lunch & Learns Trouble shoot SharePoint, OneDrive and O365 Apps, issues during weekly Open Help sessions and provide 1:1 support with End Users Test SharePoint during monthly OS patching, and test during ad-hoc security and network patches Create and update training and process documents as needed (knowledge articles and newsletter) Maintain company intranet "Connect" information pages and create new pages as needed Create SharePoint sites per BPM Collaboration Site requests, and check completion of required training Promote SharePoint and OneDrive best practices and governance Provide support to Operations and Engineering team and assist with projects as needed Available for on-call, escalated tickets after hours and weekends for priority 1 issues or Proposal work stoppage, based on team rotation Create solutions using the Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps) and Nintex Provide weekly statuses Qualifications in order to be considered: Bachelor's degree OR Technical Training, Certification(s) 1+ years of Information Technology experience, supporting IT daily operations and/or application support Experience with communicating with team members, customers, and management, in a professional manner Troubleshooting issues over the phone, share screen and email Ability to complete tasks and projects within a specific timeline Nice to have skills but not required: Knowledge and/or experience with SharePoint, OneDrive, O365 apps, Nintex, and Power Platform - Flow The likely salary range for this position is $56,000 - $84,000, this is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary; rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
