Job Description: The Survey Creation, Execution, Management, Analysis and Statistics team (within ICF's Research Science, Survey Solutions and Data Modernization portfolio) has an immediate opening for a Survey Programmer to provide programming support for survey questionnaires in multiple modes. This position will support the company's survey research business by performing hands on survey development, coding and testing within ICF's corporate data collection platform. The work will be performed in a fast-paced environment, working with both technical and non-technical members team members. Successful performance in this position requires the ability to use computer technology for creative problem-solving, attention to detail and quality of product, excellent analytical/logical skills, and ability to work independently - carefully and rapidly to meet tight deadlines. This position requires a strong understanding of survey logic and its impacts on survey development. Experience in survey research (CATI, mail, web modes) is required. Fluency with common Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel) is expected. Key Responsibilities: + Program web, CATI and mobile surveys within ICF's corporate data collection platform. + Complete quality control checks on programmed surveys. + Lead survey set up which includes adjusting survey platform settings, survey domain linking, establishing email/SMS/Panel distributions etc. + Effectively communicate needed survey adjustments with project managers, data managers and other survey programmers as needed. + Troubleshoot programming challenges and identify potential solutions Basic Qualifications: + 3+ years of applied experience in the survey research field (CATI, mail, web modes) + Demonstrable experience programming surveys or data collection instruments using survey programming software such as Voxco, Confirmit, Survox, Qualtrics etc. Preferred Qualifications: + Experience with other development languages such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS , SQL, etc. + Proficiency in MS Office Applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel) + Prior experience working within a matrixed environment as well as with outside clients and vendors Professional Skills: + Ability to manage multiple priorities and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines + Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to analyze situations, identify existing or potential problems and recommend solutions Working at ICF Working at ICF means applying a passion for meaningful work with intellectual rigor to help solve the leading issues of our day. Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.
