We are currently hiring a Software Engineer (Code Delivery) to help grow our company and ensure our mission is achieved! This role is a work from home position and can be performed remotely anywhere in the continental US or in one of our corporate locations in Utah or Arizona. WE ARE: The Progressive Leasing Code Delivery Software Development team is responsible for building internal tools, applications, and automations that are used by the Software Engineering teams. This team is focused on building and supporting the CI/CD platforms. The focus of this team will also be improving the working lives of our Software Engineers. This is achieved through integrations or internally built applications, by connecting workflows, and by automating tasks that allow the end user to work more efficiently. YOUR DAY-TO-DAY: Designing software system architecture for greenfield and legacy projects Completing data structures and design patterns Designing and implementing scalable web services, applications, and APIs Developing and maintaining internal software tools Writing low-level and high-level code Writing unit testing for every unit of code Troubleshooting and bug fixing Identifying bottlenecks and improving software efficiency Collaborating with the design team on developing micro-services Writing technical documents Understand desktop releases and infrastructure Translate new requirements into designs that align with team and company goals Evaluate, implement, and maintain high-quality tools and automation processes to support continuous delivery and Company /developer productivity YOU'LL BRING: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent training, fellowship, or work experience Firm grasp of computer science fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, programming languages, distributed systems, and information retrieval Minimum of 2-4 years of applicable experience Experience working with CICD and deployment tools Proficiency in Python 3+, JavaScript, and C# Familiarity with git, GitLab, and Bitbucket Experience developing Flask web applications You are familiar with Docker and Kubernetes You have experience with administration of different operating systems including MacOS, Linux and Windows You have experience with cross platform desktop application release processes You have experience with application error tracking and analysis tools such as Sentry or Bugsnag You've used Slack and are excited to make it even better YOU MIGHT ALSO HAVE: Experience with application end-to-end test automation using frameworks like REST Assured and Selenium is a plus Background in financial services software is a plus Experience with a variety of technologies, stacks, and programming languages WE OFFER: Competitive Compensation; Eligible for STI Full Health Benefits; Medical/Dental/Vision/Life Insurance + Paid Parental Leave Company Matched 401k Paid Time Off + Paid Holidays + Paid Volunteer Hours Employee Resource Groups (Black Inclusion Group, Women in Leadership, PRIDE, Adelante) Employee Stock Purchase Program Tuition Reimbursement Charitable Gift Matching Job required equipment and services Progressive Leasing welcomes and encourages diversity in the workplace.
