About the Role:

Do you love complex problems, helping people find exactly the right product solution, and making it seem simple? Crowdstrike is looking for you! We are searching for a Sr. Design Lead to build our design team for IT. The new design team will partner creatively and strategically with a cross-functional team of product managers, marketers, engineers, analysts, and designers to help build and improve the experience for our internal user and customers throughout the sales and support processes.

Therefore, we are making a substantial investment in experience design, endeavoring to make our products simple and intuitive for all teams.

What You’ll Do:

  • Owning the experience vision, strategy and for sales tools, our customer support portal, and partner portal on www.crowdstrike.com and cross platform interactions.
  • Building out the Experience Team
  • Aligning on a shared vision across Sales, Alliances, and IT and driving toward project execution
  • Partnering with executive leadership to implement design frameworks
  • Develop a keen understanding of our potential users and their needs by building out our initial repository of research, research methods, and insights
  • Use these insights to design experiences to create an understandable end-to-end journey for our customers

What You’ll Need:

  • An updated and polished portfolio that demonstrates strong user experience and interaction design informed by empathy for the user. This is key for us.
  • 10+ years of professional UX design experience under your belt, ideally for enterprise SaaS companies.
  • Demonstrated love of the open iterative design process – constantly sketching, showing work in progress, validating with customers and data, iterating, shipping, learning, growing, and shipping customer value some more
  • Strong facilitation and cross-functional collaboration skills: you can demonstrate the ability to work across multiple teams, solicit and synthesize feedback, and facilitate design discussions
  • Experience with strategies for utilizing data to inform awesome digital experiences

Bonus Points:

  • Experience using behavioral economics and psychology perspectives to achieve established customer and business outcomes
  • Experience using Service Design as a means of improving end-to-end experiences
  • Experience designing for IT applications, Salesforce, or other commercially off the shelf software (COTS).

CrowdStrike, Inc. is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this position in the U.S. is $130,000 – $200,000 per year + bonus + equity + benefits. A candidate’s salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location.
