Job Summary
The Senior Technical Specialist is responsible for maintaining systems, applications, and process integrity through project management, development, implementation, enhancement and end-result quality assurance for Donations & Data Processing projects and processes that impact Marketing priorities and Customer Experience. With an emphasis on process design, continuous improvement, leveraging technology, and providing technical guidance & support, this role represents Marketing on project teams and/or leads initiatives as assigned.

This role is responsible for the day-to-day key partnership Marketing relies upon with IT, Finance and Field Ops to identify issues and solutions for all customer and data processing related applications with a primary focus on donation, mail management, campaign management and process efficiency.

Major Responsibilities

  • Operate as the Marketing representative within all projects and processes that impact donation processing and mail and campaign management.
  • Document marketing functional and technical specifications of projects assigned.
  • Establish, maintain, and document donation processing business processes and workflows to guarantee best practices in revenue and data management. Includes training support and creation of training documentation as assigned.
  • Represent and articulate Marketing priorities and needs in requirement sessions, system demos, user acceptance testing, and end user training.
  • Provide input on current business processes for maximum effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Manage development ticket updates and tagging; ensuring items are up to date and accurate.
  • Identify technical issues and/or roadblocks; following through to ensure they are resolved or recommending solutions/next steps.
  • Maintain strong technical knowledge of applications relating to donations and document processing.
  • Position Requirements

Formal Knowledge

Post-secondary education or diploma from an accredited two or four-year college, university, or industry-recognized technical school preferably with an emphasis on an information technology related discipline, general business management, process management, finance, or accounting. Prior relevant work experienced may be applied as a supplement to the education requirements.

Competencies/Skills, Specialized Training or Knowledge

  • Requires specialized training and knowledge of SQL, Salesforce, NetSuite, UVI, MDM, IDQ and SDB.
  • Deep understanding of ACS data structure, ACS data use, ACS business processes and ACS users.
  • Experience in financial & bank depository best-practices and compliance.
  • Ability to work well in team / collaborative environment.
  • Strong attention to detail, as well as follow-up and follow-through on assigned projects.
  • Ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively across the organization.
  • Strong desire to learn about technology platforms and systems both those currently in place and potential new solutions for ACS.
  • Ability to understand system interdependencies, making recommendations with a focus on ACS’s full enterprise portfolio in mind.
  • Ability to manage multiple ad hoc and long-term projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analysis/problem solving skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and in a team environment.
  • Excellent computer skills, including Excel spreadsheets.

The compensation range established for this position begins at a minimum of $60000 per year.* Actual starting pay may differ based on non-discriminatory factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, experience, skills, specialty, and education.
