Senior Software Engineering Manager / .NET / Remote SoCal / Path to Director

A well- established and rapidly growing altruistic financial tech company is hiring a hands-off Senior Manager to oversee a team of 15 and take some tasks away from the current VPE. The current VPE oversees two teams and you will be taking over one of those teams. In this role you should have 10+ years of experience in the .NET Microsoft stack, experience leading a large diverse team, and experience in Microservices and cloud architecture. This team works on the main customer-facing fintech application that allows for seamless payments and transactions from banks. The team you will oversee uses C#, ASP.NET Core, .NET 6, Angular 12, Rest Microservices, JavaScript, and Azure. This is a hands-off role so you will not be expected to code, but you will still be doing 20% architecture and 80% management. For the management side of this role you will be expected to budget, be heavily in involved in managing projects with product teams, enforcing standards and methodologies, keep systems in check in terms of production support on the team, manage the technical architecture, and continuously implement best practice guidelines. There is a lot of growth within this role as well. The application team will be splitting into two teams and your role will eventually move into a Director level position. This team is highly collaborative with a lot of growth potential, also always adopting new technologies. It is a fully remote role, but everyone is mainly based in Southern California.
