Summary

Anaconda is seeking a talented Software Engineer (Full-Stack) to join our rapidly-growing company. This is an excellent opportunity for you to leverage your experience and skills and apply it to the world of data science and machine learning.

What You’ll Do:

  • Guide the development of AI-enhanced developer tool products by advising and influencing strategic decisions made by other members of the organization.
  • Collaborate closely with product management, user experience (UX), engineering teams to identify opportunities for integrating AI/ML applications across existing or emerging software platforms such as the JupyterLab extension and VS code plugins etc.
  • Provide technical guidance and support in implementing language models into existing or emerging solutions through prototyping, experimentation, testing, iteration, benchmarking, and deployment.
  • Partner with internal, and perhaps external, stakeholders to assess and prioritize use cases for applying Generative AI and ML capabilities into data practitioner workflows, including exploration of novel approaches when appropriate, especially concerning UX innovations that support data practitioner workflows

What You Need:

  • 8+ years of experience designing and building developer tools
  • Exposure to the use of language models
  • Prior experience as a key contributor to ongoing AI/ML initiatives
  • Experience with OSS Python solutions
  • Familiarity with Jupyter plugin or similar extensions, in native JupyterLab or VS Code
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic and growing startup environment
  • Deep experience working with Jupyter extensions and workflows
  • Experience in improving data practitioner experiences
  • Highly effective communicator
  • Capable of collaborating closely with cross-functional teams
  • Willing and able to provide thought leadership during both the planning and execution stages of development
