Position Overview
The Arena Group is seeking a dynamic Senior Social Media Editor to join the team at Sports Illustrated. The ideal candidate will be a creative, proactive, and team-oriented individual with a passion for sports and popular culture. As a Senior Social Media Editor, you will play a crucial role in the growth and management of Sports Illustrated’s social media presence, including driving referral traffic, engaging with audiences, and managing content distribution. You will be responsible for creating and curating visually stunning and impactful content, using your advanced writing and editing skills to communicate Sports Illustrated’s unique voice across all platforms. Ability to work nights and weekends is mandatory.
The position (Tier 4, Social 3) is part of the collective bargaining unit represented by the New York NewsGuild. The anticipated annual salary for this position is $95,000.
