The Role

We’re looking for a Senior Salesforce Administrator to help support our continuously evolving Salesforce instance. In this role, you’ll optimize our instance for efficiency and usability, support end users through various sales and support tasks, as well as collaborate on improving existing and implementing new processes and integrations. This position sits on the SalesOps Team, a team that manages Salesforce and supports the various teams that use it, from the top of the sales funnel all the way down through it to customer onboarding, as well as customer support. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with greater communication skills that is comfortable with change.

What You’ll Do

  • Build, update, and manage various Salesforce automations that interact with Standard and Custom objects to drive efficiency for our end users
  • Configure Profiles, Roles, Permission Sets, and Sharing Settings to support our user base of 500+ users
  • Resolve/Debug user and system errors in real time
  • Collaborate with our team of System Administrators as well as contributors from other departments on Salesforce projects and integrations
  • QC and test complex Salesforce automations created by team members as well as contractors
  • Mentor team members on various Administrator tasks (i.e. provide guidance on building flows when needed, help with troubleshooting, etc)
  • Proactive system maintenance including reviews of current processes and identifying areas of improvement (i.e. identify unused or underutilized platform features, etc)
  • Keep up-to-date on Salesforce Releases, features, and best practices in order to make recommendations regarding implementations

Who You Are

  • 3+ years overall Salesforce Administrator experience with Salesforce Administrator Certification (Senior Salesforce Administrator Certification is a plus)
  • A passion for creating efficiency through the use of Salesforce Declarative Automation Tools with an emphasis on Flows
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce Profiles, Roles, Permission Settings, Sharing Settings, and Security Settings
  • An understanding of the sales processes within Salesforce from Leads to Opportunities and Quotes (experience with CPQ is a plus, experience supporting SaaS products is a huge plus)
  • Experience working with relational data (experience with school data is a plus)
  • Experience with Salesforce Workbench, SOQL Queries, and Data Loader (experience with Salesforce Service Cloud is a plus)
  • The ability to work independently, as well as part of a team on multiple projects

The typical base salary range for this position is $95,000 – $125,000 plus variable pay per year. The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire base pay for this position and your pay will be determined by a variety of factors, including your primary work location, skills, qualifications and experience.
