Job Description: BlackHorse Solutions - A Parsons Company works on top level cyber development projects for national defense programs, and we are seeking an experienced Python developer to join our team in Tampa, FL or Herndon, VA with hybrid or fully remote work options available . Our team performs cutting-edge cyber tools development, and supports training, evaluation, and mission rehearsal environments for both offensive and defensive cyber operations. Qualified candidates are eager to learn new technologies as we press forward with innovative solutions to hard problems in support of computer network operations (CNO) tool and technique development and training. What You'll Be Doing: + Analyze, design, and develop software required to support new tools and capabilities + Develop and maintain "plug-in" code using a variety of frameworks and APIs + Support automated configuration of systems and tools for offensive and defensive cyber operations training, evaluation, and mission rehearsal + Provide your expertise to our customers, to enhance their existing capabilities and create new ones + Be involved in quick reaction development with opportunities for customer interaction + Collaborate with a team that is focused on developing superior products and encouraging the career growth of its members What's Required: + Python programming for complex systems, including familiarity with Pytest + Experience using frameworks (e.g. Django) and interacting with third-party APIs + Comfortable architecting solutions for given requirements and constraints + Ability to perform analysis of alternatives when designing a solution + Understanding of algorithms and design patterns + Comfortable analyzing third-party code to troubleshoot API or framework integration + Routine use of a modern IDE (e.g. PyCharm or Visual Studio) and related debugging tools + Effective use of git version control systems with team-wide repositories + Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with a remote team + 10+ years of relevant experience + Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field. In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, 6 additional years of experience may suffice. + Able to obtain a security clearance (US Citizenship is required) Additional Skills & Experience Desired: + Experience with Linux command-line tools and shell scripting + Familiarity with CI/CD tools and their configuration + Knowledge of system configuration automation tools + TS/SCI security clearance + Experience supporting US Government CNO missions or cybersecurity operations Minimum Clearance Required to Start: Not Applicable/None This position is part of our Federal Solutions team.
