DEPARTMENT SUMMARY

The SEO team at BOLD is responsible for driving organic traffic to our web portals. In this role, you’ll be working closely with the rest of the team and other departments to ensure continued growth.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Senior SEO Manager is an integral member of the SEO Team at BOLD who will manage/lead the Core SEO team and work closely with the SEO Director and other SEO Managers to ideate and execute revenue-driving organic initiatives. Demonstrated expert understanding of analytics, SEO best practices, on-page and technical SEO, content messaging and optimization, user experience and outreach are musts. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage, train and lead expanding SEO team
  • Oversee SEO strategies for core web properties
  • Work closely with Content, Design, global engineering (Development) and Product teams to ensure consistency in SEO strategy and implementation across multiple global properties
  • Drive commercial success in target market segments
  • Assess current SEO roadmap/strategies while developing new initiatives to maintain and drive additional growth across key segments
  • Directly interface with Director and other SEO managers to lay out projects and roadmaps to ensure alignment across Core, Network and INTL portals
  • Manage link building opportunities for new properties and leverage existing properties for SEO

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field (Marketing, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, etc.)
  • 5-6+ years of relevant direct response SEO experience with a global brand with proven growth strategies
  • Previous experience managing an SEO team
  • Strong working knowledge of programming languages and web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, AJAX, RSS and others
  • Experience with backlink acquisition/outreach strategies/efforts
  • Exceptional analytical skills with key performance metrics is a must, with a strong familiarity/understanding of Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google/Bing Webmaster Tools, Conductor, SEMRush, Ahrefs, CrazyEgg, etc.
  • Ability to perform competitive analysis for different markets globally
  • Strong proponent of best practices, semantics, and optimization/performance for the web; thorough knowledge of search ranking factors and updates to ranking algorithms

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong understanding of structured data e.g. Schema.org’s microformat and Core Web Vitals
  • Candidate should be self-motivated with strong leadership skills who is equally comfortable collaborating in a team environment
  • Previous work experience in the Career and Job space
