The Graphic Designer, Corporate Events role is responsible for producing engaging designs that convey our internal customers’ messages with high visual impact.

This position will work with the Team Member Experiences and Internal Communications teams, as well as senior leadership, to strategically design the appropriate visual assets to bring to life our brand promise, key messages and critical data. This role will report directly to the Senior Manager, Team Member Engagement and Internal Communications.

Outcomes and Activities:

  • This position will work from home; occasional planned travel to an assigned Southfield, Michigan office location may be required. However, this position is permitted to work at a Southfield, Michigan office location if requested by the team member.
  • Work collaboratively with internal customers to ensure clear understanding of messaging needs, requirements and expectations.
  • Develop high-impact and on-brand presentations, print and electronic deliverables that support the desired narrative.
  • Present customers with design options.
  • Coordinate presentation iterations with senior leaders and other critical stakeholders.
  • Evaluate and recommend design changes to existing communication materials to ensure the organization has consistent and high visual impact messaging.

Requirements:

  • Experienced with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, SnagIt or comparable programs, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop
  • Experienced in determining client needs and proposing practical solutions
  • Experienced and confident in presenting ideas to executives, internal customers and colleagues
  • Experienced in designing and maintaining a consistent brand image
  • Experienced in managing multiple tasks
  • A creative flair with interests in graphics and typography

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design
  • 5+ years experience with presentation concept design and delivery
  • Experience working on high-profile projects with executives
  • Experience in branding design

Targeted Compensation: $68,000 – $95,000 bas salary + an annual bonus plan
