Lead the creation and management of corporate-wide brand and design standards for The Standard. Consult with all divisions in the development of printed collateral, electronic-based communications and multimedia for external and internal audiences ensuring that business needs of the divisions are met and brand standards are upheld. Provide senior level conceptualization and design of highly visible, collateral and advertising. Serve as both a team leader, collaborator and mentor for other creative staff members.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Direct conceptualization and design of print, web and multimedia content of materials produced within department. Determine specifications, appropriate creative and production processes and vendors (internal and external).
  • Develop and direct production of materials for advertising and marketing across print, digital, email, video and trade show channels.
  • Lead the development and production of corporate-wide brand identity. Serve in a consultative and advisory role with brand identity system users for all divisions and monitor the application of brand identity standards and guidelines. Recommend and develop updates and modifications to the brand identity guidelines as needed. Facilitate consensus building to ensure divisional feedback/input is included in the development of standards and guidelines
  • Support the image library ensuring images meet brand guidelines and business requirements for all divisions. Manage relationships with vendors, such as stock photography license.
  • Analyze and recommend technologies, systems and software to enhance the graphics design functions company wide.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Specifications:

  • Education: Degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Business or related field.
  • Experience: Five to seven years business experience in graphic design, project management, and creative management.

The Standard’s package also includes incentive plan participation and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, retirement, and paid time off.

Salary Range:

$62,000.00 – $93,900.00
