Senior App Security Engineer - Fully Remote!

A beneficial medical device company is seeking a Senior Mobile Application Engineer in a Fully Remote role. They are providing improved care for patients, caregivers, and clinicians by delivering solutions that are best in class. Their reported expected full-year revenues of evaluated at $2.48B, a growth of 27% from 2021. This rewarding opportunity would have you actively aiding those that suffer from medical conditions as well as our front-line medical workers. As the Sr. Mobile Apps Engineer you would help to oversee the secure design and development of our products with our rapidly growing security team. This job requires experience designing, developing and securing Android and IOS mobile apps, as the medical field is full of sensitive and critical information. The ideal candidate is one who has experience working as a Sr. Mobile Developer or as a Software Security Engineer or Architect. Team lead experience will also be helpful since you'll also help oversee the quality of the work of their cybersecurity development team. Required Skills & Experience 5-8+ years of work experience developing iOS, Android, or full stack applications. Advanced Programming skills (C/C++, Swift, Obj-C, Kotlin, Ruby). Knowledge or experience in authentication/authorization concepts such as OAuth, OpenId, and SSO. Knowledge and experience in reverse engineering applications. Experience with iOS security (Keychain, Secure Enclave), Swift, and Ruby. Experience with common scripting languages (i.e. Python3, Bash) Clear understanding of the OWASP mobile top ten vulnerabilities and how to develop to avoid these issues Experience in Medical device industry and/or working in a US government regulated environment Desired Skills & Experience 2 or more years of experience working in the Google Cloud (GCP) 1 or more cybersecurity related certifications such as CISSP, or a SANs Certification Experience leading software development teams, software development engineers and/or security engineers Experience with applying obfuscation and RASP to mobile and desktop applications. Experience architecting security controls in firmware and software.
