Someone who can use insight and analytical and modern technical skills to automate a variety of business processes currently being performed manually. The ideal candidate will have a strong development and analysis background, strong communication skills and can be customer facing and will be able to work independently. Primary Duties include, but are not limited to the following: Creates and maintains logic/code for bots that will interact with multiple internal and external applications. Move each bot through the development lifecycle to successful deployment Attend process design sessions with Business Analysts for process identification and feasibility analysis of new bot opportunities Lead the design and development and deployment of bots including creating and maintaining solution documentation such as Solution Description Document (SDD) Support and maintain and troubleshoot issues with deployed bots Follow good software engineering and configuration management processes Lead structured peer reviews and conduct code reviews Ensures best practices are being followed at each stage of SDLC Estimate level of effort and time to develop new automations BA/BS degree or equivalent plus 8 years of experience Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 Travel Required: Less than 10% Telecommuting Options: Remote Work Location: USA DC Washington Additional Work Locations: COVID-19 Vaccination: GDIT does not have a vaccination mandate applicable to all employees.
