Remote Sr. C#/WPF/3D Software Engineers

A Kforce client is seeking to hire a Remote Sr. C#/WPF/3D Software Engineers in Phoenix, Arizona (AZ).Summary:We are working directly with the Hiring Manager on this exclusive search assignment and this position is 100% remote. The Senior Software Engineer will be focused on architecting and developing the software for a Medical Platform/systems. The system works with inputs over a 3D space and as such leads to 3D reconstruction of information, like imaging systems like CT and/or ultrasound. The effort in the project involves the need to create a highly efficient solution within a high-end computing environment. The Senior Software Engineer will work along scientists and lead the effort in all relevant areas of commercially deployable software.Responsibilities include: Senior Software Engineer will be architecting the various subsystems of the software product and producing the software requirements and spec document C#/WPF based front end design for displaying complex medical data and corresponding user control Will develop complex 3D Display Visualization Systems that has multiple layers Data transport module to transmit data from/to multiple hardware systems As a Senior Software Engineer, you will assist with developing sensor devices and corresponding technology from the perspective of signal and algorithm needs Participate in discussion with System Engineer, Software Engineers, and Algorithm Engineers on algorithm developments Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or related field; Master's degree preferred 5-8 years of experience in C#/WPF development Experience with one or more helper libraries such as MFC, STL, or Boost libraries Strong background in multi-threading Experience with developing complex 3D Display Systems that has multiple layers (Examples could be Medical Devices, Gaming systems, Dental industry, Aerospace industry (Flight simulation systems) Complex WPF experience at the 3D rendering area Experience with C Experience with any of the following would be ideal: GPU/shader programming Experience working with XAML and View Model, MVVM is desired Experience with NuGet Package Helix Toolkit for WPF or similar toolkit would be ideal Experience in developing a medical software and submitting for FDA approval is a plus Background in IEC 62304 processes and mathematics a strong plus Background in MATLAB programming is a plus Experience with 3D mapping software user interfaces is a plus Kforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
