Learn more about Unisys and our key solution offerings: Unisys, Stealth , CloudForte , InteliServe What success looks like in this role: From home office in the EST Time Zone will provide remote 2nd level phone support to onsite field technicians supporting Dell High End Storage. The COE (Center of Excellence) is a department created within Field Services with the purpose of providing remote support to Unisys Field Engineers utilizing advanced technology such as smart glasses, smart phones, merged reality software and webcams in addition to standard methods of communication. Will be considered the subject matter expert for both the account team and field engineers and must have expert level skillset at both installing/deinstalling and break/fix repair of Dell High End Storage Will assist remotely with service calls for incident specific activities such as installs, moves, adds and changes as part of a directed team. May also assist with Enterprise Servers. COE members will be responsible for capturing detailed notes in call logs, noticing and reporting trends in service delivery, knowledge transfers to field engineers, and participating in account team meetings to provide status updates. By nature of their position and role, COE members have a critical role in successful service delivery to the client You will be successful in this role if you have: Expert level hands on experience with Dell High End Storage and Servers including installations and break/fix High school diploma or GED required. Background investigation and drug screen required. Excellent communication skills required, both spoken and written. Previous remote support experience is a plus. Excellent analytical skills, identifying trends in call logs and reporting findings Knowledge of field service ticketing systems. Hands on experience with ServiceNow is a plus. Client and/or governmental clearance may be required Must be available for after-hours work if a call extends past normal business hours
