Product Owner

Product Owner

US – Remote

Our mission is to help people be healthier and live better lives. We strive to help them navigate an increasingly complicated healthcare environment and figure out the next right thing to do for their health. To engage and influence consumers, we connect with them in multiple ways (e.g. digitally or over the phone) to educate, encourage, and assist them with taking action. Behind the scenes we have a fairly sophisticated deployment of technology and human resources to make it all happen. The Product Owner is essential to our Wellness Platform delivering value, evolving, and finding more and better ways to help people.

The Product Owner drives the culture of relentlessly questioning the value of any product change to separate “wants” from “needs” and continuously refines his/her team’ product backlog to ensure the highest quality product is delivered and aligns with the vision, budget and timeline of our Wellness Platform. Working with internal and external stakeholders, the Product Owner drives projects to success and sees things through to completion. As part of a larger team that prizes, strong relationships, collaboration and camaraderie, we will ensure our Wellness Platform is perceived as innovative, effective, and the partner of choice when it comes to engaging consumers and helping them along their healthcare journeys.

Product Owners partner tightly with product managers, market-facing teams, Technology, and Operations. To be effective, the Product Owner must thoroughly learn specific product domains, connect dots to understand the “why,” author and include a comprehensive list of assumptions that clarify performance, concurrency, client impact and business impacts, and be able to understand complex concepts which support quality product development. Equally important, the Product Owner teaches and guides, so it is important to be able to convey those same complex concepts in relatively simple terms where appropriate while still delivering detailed meeting and release notes alongside robust internal user guides.
