We are looking for a Product Design Manager to serve the cross-functional team that focuses on our Sales Training and Sales Readiness products. Reporting to a Product Design Director, you will be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of designers, while collaborating closely with product management, engineering, and other design team members and leaders to deliver exceptional user experiences. This position is perfect for someone who loves to inspire, coach, and empower their team members to create amazing work.

What you will do:

  • Create an environment that fosters and supports exceptional design work by your team and partners
  • Work with with diverse, talented, and genuine people
  • Recruit and attract skilled talent for our team
  • Coach and develop designers on your team to grow in their roles
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, product marketing, and engineering, to establish objectives, key results, and execute strategies, and then steer your team towards achieving those goals
  • Communicate design vision and strategy to stakeholders and executive leadership, gathering feedback and ensuring alignment with business goals
  • Partner with product teams to establish priorities, plan projects, and define design approaches that result in the best user experiences
  • Champion the user’s perspective and address the expectations of important business stakeholders
  • Effectively manage and prioritize the multiple projects your designers will be working through, from ideation to completion
  • Advocate for UX best practices, and educate and inspire leadership, designers, engineers, and product managers

Who you are:

  • 5+ years in product design, 3-5 years of experience managing design teams with demonstrated success
  • A strong leader who can inspire and motivate designers to deliver their best work while also making it enjoyable
  • Expertise in design thinking, workshop creation, and facilitation
  • A skilled coach, mentor and teacher
  • Exceptional collaborator with product management, engineering, user research, and design teams
  • Driven to move quickly, make decisive decisions, and support teams to deliver world-class user experiences
  • Excellent communication skills, including verbal, written, and visual communication, with the ability to influence and build consensus across all levels of the organization
  • Able to interact with many stakeholders and balance a multitude of inputs, including user and business needs, while planning and allocating resources effectively
  • Experience working with Figma and JIRA
  • Experience working in B2B technology is a plus
