Title: Liberal Arts & Business Lesson Optimizer (Contract)

The Liberal Arts & Business Lesson Optimizer at Study.com improves existing lesson content by adding valuable instructional information, reformatting lessons to enhance learners’ experience, and strengthening keyword usage to improve search engine optimization (SEO). The Liberal Arts & Business Lesson Optimizer uses their subject-matter expertise to increase the quality and discoverability of Study.com lessons.

Liberal Arts & Business Lesson Optimizers are expected to:

+ Apply subject matter expertise to add sections or sentences to existing lessons on common academic topics, including literature, social science, history, and business

+ Reformat content to improve user experience

+ Incorporate keywords into lesson headers and body

+ Follow SEO guidelines to create and enhance headers

Requirements

+ Bachelor’s degree or higher

+ 1-3 years’ teaching or tutoring experience at the middle school, high school and/or college level

+ Strong writing skills and English fluency

+ Familiarity withonlineeducational content

+ Commitment toprovidinghigh-quality,accurateinformation

+ Working knowledge of online research methods

+ Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications

+ Experience developing online academic course or lesson content

+ Familiarity with HTML, Wiki code, Latex, or imaging software

+ Knowledge of SEO best practices
