Lead Corporate Governance Specialist-Paralegal
The Lead Governance Specialist will report to the VP of Global Regulatory Affairs and Subsidiary Governance (VP) and support the AVP, Global Entity Mgmt and Subsidiary Corp Secretary on a variety of complex regulatory and corporate matters. In particular, the Lead Governance Specialist will be responsible for monitoring Insurance Holding Company Act (HCA) regulatory requirements and working cross-functionally to draft and submit HCA regulatory filings. In addition to drafting and tracking intercompany agreements as part of his/her HCA responsibilities, the Lead Governance Specialist will collaborate across the enterprise on various insurance regulatory and governance-related matters critical to Assurant’s initiatives. This role will communicate effectively with Subsidiary senior management on a variety of topics. This role is expected to be proactive, resourceful, and thorough while performing tasks assigned with minimal supervision. This is a remote role.
What will my duties and responsibilities be in this job?
The Lead Governance Specialist will lead the drafting of Holding Company Act filings, manage the intercompany agreement process globally (including drafting of agreements based on regulatory requirements), and support complex regulatory and corporate governance projects, all with minimal guidance, and in most instances independently. Pay Range: $82,200.00 – $137,400.00
Any posted pay range considers a wide range of compensation factors, including candidate background, experience and work location, while also allowing for salary growth within the position.
