Position description The Solution Accelerators Delivery Team within the Division of Mayo Clinic Cloud Platform Services is seeking a highly skilled and motivated seeking a limited tenure Sr. Analyst/Programmer who will perform Scrum Master duties and assist in the design, development, and maintenance of Mayo Clinic Cloud's Solution Accelerators Services. Solution Accelerators Delivery supports and manages Cloud Tenancy. Tenancy Management is a customizable HITRUST certified that enables product development for Mayo Clinic and third-party customers through automation and self-service. The successful candidate will need to interact with multiple groups across Mayo Clinic as well as various areas of IT to bring the technologies together to create a seamless experience for users and customers. The person applying this position shall have strong experience in an Agile / Scrum or Kanban development environment(s), cloud computing development, management of requirements, as well as, working with testers and developers to expand and mature the Cloud Native and Tenancy Management capabilities. Understands the business environment and the impact IT can have on the business environment. Provides analysis and support for installed systems, as well as system implementation and integration projects, which require systems analysis, design, build, testing and implementation for specific modules or applications. Responsible for the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of custom system software, and/or the installation and maintenance of purchased systems software, as well as the configuration and support of hardware systems across Mayo Clinic. In conjunction with more senior technical staff, develops proposals that consider alternatives and business case, and gains needed institutional approvals. Evaluates alternative approaches and presents recommendations to teams and unit leadership. Regularly reviews applications and makes modifications and/or updates to ensure currency and functionality within established environment. Collaborates with team, stakeholders, product owners, management, developers, quality assurance and others to understand issues/problems and provide sound technical solutions taking into consideration, balancing workloads, skill sets, technical knowledge, and criticality of the tasks. Serves as a consultant or mentor to others coaching them in specific areas of technical expertise. Serves and participates on appropriate committees and institutional workgroups and acts as a resource to institutional committees on an ad hoc basis, providing consultation in their area of expertise. Participates on committees to establish technical standards, promote integration of data, and/or coordination of projects across work units. Responsible and accountable for the on-time completion of tasks and projects, demonstrating a commitment to meet established deadlines and priorities. May be involved in multiple initiatives simultaneously and needs to be able to manage time effectively and maintain focus on the highest priority work at any given time. Would be expected to use requirements to drive the design and review of test cases, process change requests, and manage the project's scope and acceptance. Maintains in-depth knowledge of existing systems and certification in the vended application. Able to design, develop, or modify applications, algorithms, or rules via vendor tools or augmented tools developed within Mayo Clinic and can validate data integrity of changes introduced. Creates test plans and evaluates current plans for improvement. Guides and advises less experienced business analysts and provides orientation and training for new employees. Maintains and supports multiple systems or complex software applications and their associated hardware at multiple Mayo Clinic sites. Produces and maintains documentation such as system requirements, designs, resource inventories, and plans. Provides technical and project leadership to other staff members, demonstrates initiative, and works independently as needed to accomplish responsibilities. Works effectively across departmental organizations gaining consensus of stakeholders. May interface with vendor support service groups or other external support teams to ensure proper escalation during outages or periods of degraded system performance. Acts as a liaison to Mayo departments and vendors to adequately support the division's computing systems. Interfaces routinely with colleagues who may be located at any of the Mayo Group practices to perform job responsibilities requiring virtual collaboration and partnership. May be required to provide 24/7 on-call support. Qualifications Bachelor's degree and 3 years' experience, including 1 year demonstrated technical experience; Or, Associate's degree and 7 years' experience, including 1 year demonstrated technical experience.
