Position description The Research Applications Solutions Unit is seeking a Senior Analyst/Programmer to develop, support and maintain the applications for Cardiovascular Research, Lab Medicine and Pathology and Nephrology and Hypertension Research units. The selected candidate would interact with Primary Investigators and business proponents in research areas to gather business requirements and develop or maintain applications for their teams use. In addition, this position also requires supporting current applications in the unit and resolving any on-call issues and do the troubleshooting. The ideal candidate for this position will have experience supporting both in-house and vended applications in Research environment. Successful candidates should also have development experience (preferably with .NET C#, Angular, REST API, WPF and MSSQL), knowledge of Azure Dev Ops (ADO) and ServiceNow, strong analytical skills, strong process orientation, documentation experience, and experience with providing level 3 support. This position will be performed remotely and includes membership on the on-call rotation providing support to the Research Applications Solution Unit. Qualifications + Bachelor's degree and 3 years of experience + or Associate Degree with 7 years of experience + Master's Degree in applicable field is preferred Preferred Skills or experience + Experience with .NET, C#, MSSQL, Entity Framework, REST API, WPF, Unix + Experience with problem resolution and customer interactions + Experience with Angular + Experience working in Python and Docker + Experience supporting both in-house and vended applications + Advanced experience in Cloud deployment and Azure Dev Ops + Knowledge of interfacing other applications and systems is preferred May be required to provide 24/7 on-call support.
