Reporting to the Security Architecture and Engineering team leads, the IT Security Architect will have accountability for designing, operating, and optimizing the Cybersecurity Architecture and Engineering functions. Your responsibilities may include the following: Interact with application team members to ensure application-level security within the Enterprise Security Architecture. Ensure alignment the enterprise security policy and standards and industry best practices Interact with infrastructure services to ensure network/infrastructure security Manage and execute cloud security solutions across lifecycle strategy, design, implementation, and operations Interact with compliance teams to ensure regulatory requirements are met This position can be 100% Remote working from a home based office. The base salary range for this position is $100,000 - $131,000 . Actual base salaries vary based on skills, experience, and geographical location. In addition to base pay, Equitable provides compensation to reward performance with base salary increases, spot bonuses, and short-term incentive compensation opportunities. Eligibility for these programs depends on level and functional area of responsibility. Equitable Pay and Benefits: Equitable Total Rewards Program (\_id=A) Qualifications Qualifications: + At least 10 years of experience in information systems security disciplines (Applications, Data, and Network) with focus on Enterprise Security Architecture + Familiarity with predominant public cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) + Dedicated experience leading Cloud Security focused roles on delivering security on cloud native, distributed architectural solutions in complex environments + Experience in defining security standards and reference architectures used to guide technical resources in secure system implementation and configuration for enterprise cloud systems and consumption of public cloud + Understanding of Industry trends in cloud technologies for public, private and hybrid cloud deployments + One or more technical security certifications is a plus: + CCSP - Certified Cloud Security Professional + CISSP - Certified Information Systems Security Professional + CSSLP - Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional + CISM - Certified Information Security Manager + CSEC - SANS CIAC Security Essentials + Ability to develop and manage relationships with 3rd-party suppliers and internal business and IT groups focusing on Information Security + Strong understanding of implementation processes and best practices in Security Architecture + Ability to articulate information security concepts clearly and succinctly + Application and Infrastructure security standards and best practices + Information Security and Regulatory Policies Key Characteristics + Strong ability to communicate with both and technical and non-technical team members + Excellent presentation skills and able to coordinate and facilitate security workshops to technical team members across Dell Technologies + Customer focused mindset and is capable of flexing and delivering security solutions to meet the business needs by still achieving the high security standards + Growth mindset who is passionate to learn and use new/emerging technologies + Must work well independently and with others as part of larger team and be able to collaborate on cross-functional teams Skills: Agile Methodologies : Knowledge of concept and principles of agile methodology; ability to apply appropriate agile approaches in the processes of software development and delivery. Confidentiality : Knowledge of practices and policies governing disclosure of information about the organization, its business activities, and employees; ability to apply this knowledge appropriately to diverse situations. Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of the organization's industry group, trends, directions, major issues, regulatory considerations, and trendsetters; ability to apply industry knowledge appropriately to diverse situations. Information Security Management: Knowledge of the processes, tools and techniques of information security management; ability to deploy and monitor information security systems, while detecting, controlling and preventing violations of IT security. IT Governance: Knowledge of the accountability framework and processes used to encourage proper behavior in IT activities and operations; ability to implement IT systems and controls to meet business needs and requirements.
