Integration Developer / Lvl 3 / App Software Developer / Remote

Description: Our CIO-MFC (Missiles & Fire Control) business area is looking for a dynamic candidate, who is interested in working in a fast-paced technical integration role across multiple projects. The selected applicant will support the Operations Portfolio & Integration team, working on end to end integration of multiple applications. The right candidate will have not only possess technical expertise and development experience, but will also have a strong understanding of operations processes and systems. To be successful in this role, you should be detail-oriented and have great communication skills and be able to collaborate cross-functionally with a variety of other disciplines. This role may have a flexible work week which includes some evening and weekend coverage. This role will also be 100% virtual (work from home). Basic Qualifications: • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience / combined education • Experience in understanding different architectures (SOA, EAI, REST, WCF, EDI, XML, Flat file) and other frameworks. • Experience in IT/Application development • Experience collaborating with project management to identify user requirements and specifications • US Citizenship is required for this role Desired Skills: • Experience in modeling business logic and automating business processes using modern middleware integration platforms (e.g., TIBCO, eQube, Mulesoft, BizTalk) • Experience in deploying containerized applications onto Kubernetes platforms (e.g., RedHat OpenShift) • Experience in Data Ingestion, ETL processing & exposing APIs on Data Lakes/Data Hubs • Strong technical experience in XML, XPATH, XQUERY, XSLT • Strong programming skills in Java/J2EE including Spring and RESTful web-services •Solid foundation in Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) principles and service modeling • Knowledge of XML, XSD, WSDL, SOAP, REST, HTTP, JMS, FTP, XSLT, WSS, and / or SSL • Responsible, team-oriented, security-focused, well-organized individual with strong communications skills and the ability to handle multiple concurrent projects while adapting quickly to rapidly changing priorities • Experience in deployments, configuration, performance tuning, monitoring • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree.
