Finance Manager - Merchandising Business Partner (Hybrid: Onsite 2 days per week, the rest remote)

Merchandising Business Partner is the financial business partner to the Senior Vice President Merchandising/Category Management. He/She is responsible for providing continuous assistance and increased visibility into planning, forecasting, and reporting business results. Additionally, serve as the financial steward to help drive key priorities and initiatives for US Foods Fresh business. This position has been segmented as "Blended/Hybrid" meaning there is a combination of onsite work two days a week and the rest remote. Responsibilities: + Assist in the development of short and long-term business initiatives, implement and track respective initiatives to ensure subsequent effectiveness and progress. + Organize and coordinate the AOP planning process and deliverables for the respective business partners + Effectively and concisely communicate updates and reviews with leadership that pertain to the overall categories and projects. + Complete complex analyses on investments to deliver strategic financial targets through financial modeling, e.g. simple investment/benefit, discounted cash flow, ROI modeling and respective payback + Glean insights from performance reporting, identify trends, and provide corrective action or recommendations to meet and exceed commercial and financial commitments + Effectively work and collaborate with cross-functional partners and influence team members to drive profitable decisions. Relationships: + This position does not have direct reports, but leverages Insights & Analytics team, Financial Analysts, Category Managers Education/Training: + BA/BS in Accounting or Finance, MBA/CPA certification preferred. Related Experience: + Minimum 5 years finance/accounting experience. Minimum 3 years experience working with cross-functional teams Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: + Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills. Strong analytical and leadership capabilities. + Demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. + Strong capability to manage competing priorities and stake holders. + Less than 5% travel may be required at times.
