ETL Developer- Fully Remote

+ This position can sit fully remote + W2 only, no C2C Description: For this contractor assignment you will leverage and develop your software/data engineering, and cloud skills. You'll develop in a high-profile enterprise-wide cloud-based data/analytics platform initiative working from source to target across a variety of business units. You will collaborate with internal data customers across IT and the Business to enable analytical insight to drive business results. Day-to-Day Responsibilities: • Migrate data by building ETL/ELT solutions in a Snowflake environment • Utilize on-prem and cloud environments, connectors • Use 3rd party partner software and tools to develop solutions • Deliver data projects that involves profiling, mapping, and engineering pipelines • Be a part of a fast-moving development team using Agile methodologies Required skills: • Proven experience in ETL/ELT development, preferably with Snowflake. • Writing, troubleshooting, and debugging advanced SQL queries • Understand advanced SQL query profiles and execution plans • SQL data types, functions and, database objects. • Developing and supporting large size Data Warehouses and Data Marts • Troubleshooting data issues and database connectivity issues • Verbal and written communication Preferred skills and experiences: • MPP (massively parallel processing) databases. • CDC tools such as Fivetran, Attunity or HVR. • Python, Java, .Net, NodeJS, R • Amazon AWS or MS Azure • Virtualization solutions (docker, Kubernetes, etc.) • Cloud computing security concepts Additional Skills & Qualifications: EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Education and/or experiences listed below are the minimum requirements for job entry. - Bachelor's Degree or higher in an Information Technology discipline or related field of study and minimum of six years of work experience designing, programming, and supporting software programs or applications. - In lieu of the above, a high school diploma or GED or higher, the completion of a technical training program, and a minimum of six years related work experience. - In lieu of the above, a high school diploma or GED or higher and a minimum of eight years related work experience designing, programming, and supporting software programs and applications.
