About the Role:

• This Enginner will be a part of the Rapid Cloud Application Development (RCAD) Team. In this role, you will help build custom functionality within the RCAD team's Quick Base environment, including automating manual processes, data transmission between systems, and designing custom GUIs as needed. You will support existing integrations as well as design and create new integrations based on the needs of the business.

• Primary Location would be Charlotte, NC, Lexington, KY or Little Rock, AR but Remote is an option

• Will be reporting to the Staff Manager in the IT Engineering group

What you'll do:

• Responsible for the development, deployment, and support of cloud applications within a Quick Base environment

• Design architecture for Quick Base applications including new apps, feature enhancements, and new solutions/integrations between Quick Base, middleware servers, and external web services/applications

• Leads in stakeholder engagement, identifying and clarifying development opportunities and use cases while serving as a vocal representative of the customer(s)

• Manage advanced technical support for Quick Base applications, primarily utilizing native Quick Base development, but supplemented with JavaScript, PHP, XML/JSON web services, API integration, SQL, and Clover ETL

• Lead in documentation, communication, and collaboration across Confluence, Microsoft teams, and SharePoint as necessary

Beneficial Skills to Have:

• Quick Base development experience

• Clover ETL or comparable ETL Software experience

• Database experience - SQL, Oracle, Big Data (Hadoop)

• Experience with JIRA or comparable ticketing / project management software

• Experience with Confluence or comparable documentation platform

• Experience with Microsoft products: Teams, SharePoint, Office

• Familiar with Agile methodology and experience establishing project roadmaps in an agile framework and translating that roadmap into a hierarchy of issues (epics, features, stories, etc.)

Even Better:

• Quick Base Expert certification

• Data Analytics - Tableau, Excel, Macros (VBA), Advanced Formulas

• Programming experience: Javascript, PHP, node.js, HTML, Python, CSS, Auto Hot Key (AHK)

• API experience (REST): GET, POST, DELETE, header manipulation

• Troubleshooting/Debugging experience: Web services (XML, JSON, error codes)

Qualifications

Qualifications - External

Minimum Requirements: College degree in Engineering or a related field and 2-4 years professional level experience with 0-2 years supervisory experience for roles with supervision; or 9 years professional level related Engineering/Technical experience with 0-2 years supervisory experience for roles with supervision; or an equivalent combination of education and professional level related Engineering/Technical experience required.
