Has depth and breadth of knowledge across multiple business domains and technical disciplines, including designing and implementing enterprise grade applications for Batch ETL processing, Web Services, and Web Applications. Is a developer at heart and has the wisdom from years of development experience with Java/Spring and/or Frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue. Has experience designing and planning Data architectures, Microservice architectures, Micro Frontend architectures, and holistic IT systems. Has experience translating product intent into technical executables and is able to translate technical initiatives into strategic business value. Has the expectation to lead teams through and out of ambiguity. Is a generous mentor and has a strong desire to provide mentorship through one-on-ones, whitepapers, presentations, and/or other communication channels. May have experience with financial systems, debt recoveries, accounting practices, and regulatory compliance. Capital One is open to hiring a Remote Employee for this opportunity. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree At least 7 years of experience with enterprise architecture, software architecture, and database design patterns At least 3 years of experience creating and implementing the technology strategy for a business domain Preferred Qualifications: Master's Degree 5+ years of experience of working with business leaders on the implications of architectural decisions 5+ years of experience working with executive stakeholders Experience in the financial services industry. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked. Location is New York City $260,592 and $307,440 for Distinguished Engineer Location is Colorado $220,854 and $260,558 for Distinguished Engineer Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate's offer letter.
