Director of Security Operations will be joining our Gladiator Managed Services team that is tasked with providing comprehensive services that include around-the-clock management, correlation, and monitoring of multiple security layers specifically designed and developed for financial institutions to safeguard information assets, IT infrastructures, and business continuity by identifying and addressing internal and external security threats.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our managed security service business. Areas to be managed include: Implementations, Customer Support, Monitoring and Professional Services. You will work closely with our governance group to ensure operational activities remain compliant with corporate policies & procedures, manage customer escalations, interface with sales to position our products/services, provide strategic direction for our managed security services, prepare annual budgets, and manage a P&L. The ideal candidate will have familiarity with the financial services sector with a strong background in information security and operations management.

This position will be filled to work at the following Jack Henry office locations: Alpharetta, GA, Springfield, MO, or Remotely within the U.S.*

The target salary range for this position is $122,300 $180,000, based on location and experience.

What you’ll be responsible for:

  • Directly and through subordinate managers:
    • Oversee accurate and timely installation of information security products and services. Ensure installations meet customer expectations and are in accordance with contract terms and conditions.
    • Ensure continuous protection of customer data through delivery of services such as monitoring, alerting, fraud detection, incident response and testing.
    • Manage post-sales product support activities and facilitates resolution of problems on any and all products. Ensure appropriate training, documentation, and tracking to maximize client satisfaction.
    • Manage client relationships and ensures service delivery meets and exceeds client expectations and service level agreements.
    • Review and analyzes monthly client billing to ensure appropriate invoicing.
    • Support the sales process with pertinent information such as installation dates, technical specifications, and capabilities, and may participate in sales meetings.
  • May perform other job duties as assigned.

What you’ll need to have:

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in the Information Security field.
  • A minimum of 8 years of formal leadership experience.
  • CISSP, ISSMP, CISM, CRISC certification or obtained ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
  • Experience working in a managed services provider (MSP) or within a complex enterprise.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 15% to attend JHA meetings, trainings, and/or professional conferences.

  • Familiarity with the financial services vertical, specifically banks and credit unions.
