The right candidate to fill this role will have the ability to lead development efforts related to integrations, data movement and storage and supporting applications connecting to our enterprise Population Health Management application, Jiva. Jiva provides UM, CM, Authorization Appeals, SDoH, and disease management capabilities for 15+ lines of Medicaid and Medicare business within the AmeriHealth Caritas Family of Companies. The developer lead will lead and support the new complex implementations as well as enhancements to current systems and integrations. Developer Programmer Lead is responsible for understanding the technical aspects of the current applications / integrations and assisting more junior level developers in designing and developing accurate and efficient software. Using an active and practical approach, the Developer Programmer Lead will direct technological resources to attain the company's strategic goals. + Presents a strong understanding of delivery within an Agile framework, and manages multiple scrum teams + Facilitates technical design discussions with team and vendors. Function as a solution lead/architect for business initiatives by interfacing with Enterprise Architecture team to identify technology integrations. + Provides oversight on vendor developed solutions to ensure the best user experience and scalable designs + Lead the design and implementation of multiple complex system integrations: batch interfaces as well as APIs and FHIR. + Work collaboratively with enterprise architecture team to ensure that the proposed solution is aligned with enterprise architecture direction. + Lead, evaluate and provide technical and architectural guidance to team members. + Lead solution architecture for application enhancements. + Analyzes and reduces complex problems into simple, manageable components. + Carries out systematic problem identification, analysis, and resolution. + Design, develop, code and test programs from specifications, working independently. + Interfaces with business analysts, project managers and clients to clarify requirements. + Effectively composes technical and non-technical documents such as design specifications, operation guides, process flows, and other technical schematics. + Lead technical meetings and provides technical directions to onshore and offshore developers. Perform deep technical analysis of identified issues. Participate in and/or lead code reviews. + Evaluates technical performance challenges and recommends tuning solutions. + Identifies and proposes best practices for SDLC and executes vision once approved by leadership. + Manage business relationships with regards to designs, challenges and scheduling Education/Experience: + BS Degree or equivalent experience. + At least eight (8)+ years of software development experience in a fast-paced environment. + At least five (5)+ years of experience leading technical development efforts. + At least five (5)+ years of leading technology solution design for customer facing applications. + At least five (5)+ years of experience in designing and architecting, standard data exchanges and EDI. + At least five (5)+ years of experience in designing and architecting, implementing complex SQL applications including: Stored Procedures, Views, Relational Table Design, SSIS + Experience in Agile development methodology; SDLC experience required. + Required technical knowledge and skills: + Restful API development using .Net + .Net framework for non-UI applications + Microservices & Containerization - Kubernetes (K8s), Azure RedHat OpenShift - Development experience + SQL server query/stored procedure + Understanding and implementation knowledge of TLS 1.2 , 2way SSL, OAuth 2.0, OpenId connect in API integration + OS - Linux, Windows + Azure Cloud - Developing solutions for Microsoft Azure certification + Previous experience in CICD is a plus + Solid understanding of object-oriented principles, design patterns, and core principles of code reusability and extensibility of solutions, including mocking and unit testing.
