Overview
GitHub is searching for an enthusiastic Communications Specialist to join the Office of the CEO as an executive speechwriter. In this role, you will be directly responsible for helping us to craft compelling and creative stories in the Age of AI that drive interest and engagement back to the GitHub platform. All in all, we are looking for someone who loves putting pen to paper and seeing their words orated to audiences around the world.
Responsibilities
Supporting the Head of CEO Communications and Engagement, in this role you’ll be responsible for producing high-quality, written external and internal communications materials for both the CEO of GitHub and the Chief of Staff to the CEO, who sits on the GitHub Executive Leadership team. You will:

Compensation Range
USD $61,300.00 – USD $162,500.00 /Yr.
In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee’s role.
These pay ranges are intended to cover roles based across the United States. An individual’s base pay depends on various factors including geographical location and review of experience, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant. At GitHub certain roles are eligible for benefits and additional rewards, including annual bonus and stock. These rewards are allocated based on individual impact in role. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee’s role.
