Change Management Training Developer - REMOTE - US Citizenship required

Responsibilities for this Position Location: USA VA Home Office (VAHOME) Full Part/Time: Full time Job Req: RQ138377 Type of Requisition: Regular Clearance Level Must Currently Possess: None Clearance Level Must Be Able to Obtain: None Public Trust/Other Required: MBI Full 5C (T3) Job Family: Instructional Development Job Description: Designs and develops curriculum and course materials for participants and facilitators including instruction, exercises, evaluations, activities, job aids and all other required materials, in accordance with business requirements. Interacts with customer and subject matter experts to ensure technical accuracy of instructional content. This role is 100% remote. Contract requires US Citizenship. Job Responsibilities: Develop asynchronous and synchronous training documentation and content applicable to each phase of the Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation (ADDIE) model to include, but not limited to: Job, Duty, Task, Analysis (JDTA); Terminal and Enabling Learning Objective (TLOs and ELOs) development; Lesson design strategies, course outlines, lesson plans; Learning content such as storyboard lesson screens/pages, learning assessments and knowledge checks, multimedia (e.g., graphics/info graphics, videos, animations); scenario and performance based content; technical and business process simulations; supporting course materials, such as instructor guides, student guides, performance support materials (e.g., job aids, worksheets, videos, etc.) and maintenance plans. Proactively engage with stakeholders and project team members to research and write content to be incorporated into learning assets (e.g., course content, performance support tools, micro-learning objects, videos, documentation, manuals, presentations, etc.). Proactively engage with stakeholders and project team members to research and document business processes/workflows to support training content development and stakeholder engagement. Revise existing learning assets and source references, as directed. Establish and implement branded templates to be used for asynchronous and synchronous learning assets. Coordinate with stakeholders and project team members to conduct quality assurance testing during each ADDIE phase and stage. Ensure learning content is Section 508 compliant and SCORM compliant. Develop and deploy training in accordance with approved project schedule(s). Coordinate with stakeholders to delivery training to the desired learning platform, as required (e.g., Learning Management System, MS Teams, SharePoint). Proactively engage with stakeholders to establish training metrics and methods for tracking training effectiveness. Assist with the development of formal communications in support of change management initiatives, as needed. Job Requirements Minimum of 5 years of experience as an instructional designer and developer Minimum of 5 years of experience developing training content using Adobe Captivate or Lectora Strong experience with video editing using tools such as Adobe Premiere or Camtasia Strong experience developing graphics using basic and advanced tools such as MS PowerPoint, MS Visio, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator Strong experience developing Section 508 compliant and SCORM compliant learning content. Experience delivering virtual training using tools such as Microsoft Teams, WebEx and Adobe Connect Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong technical writing skills Strong interpersonal skills Detail-oriented Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Strong information technology skills and/or ability to extract key technology implementation features from business process and software development personnel Proficient in the Microsoft Office 365 (O365) Suite of tools, including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook and designing and building SharePoint and Teams sites Preferred Experience developing formal communications in support of change management initiatives. Familiarity with the DHS/CBP Budget Manual Familiarity with SAP (ECC or S/4HANA) Budgeting or Finance modules Experience developing learning content for DoD Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Accountability (PPBA) process(es) BS degree in Instructional Design, Curriculum and Instruction, or equivalent. May coach and review the work of less-experienced professionals. May serve as a team or task leader. (Not a people manager). BA/BS degree and 8 years of experience DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: BA/BS (or equivalent experience), 8+ years of experience The likely salary range for this position is $100,000 - $150,000, this is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary; rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
