OVERVIEW
The Associate Brand Partner, HR Brew, will report to a senior seller in the B2Bpod within the Revenue Org. This role will be responsible for prospecting, fostering, and managing relationships with key clients in the category of Human Resources software to build best-in-class advertising campaigns. While this is a sales role, you will not have an individual quota, but your commission will be tied to HR Brew reaching its quarterly goal.
We’re seeking a self-starter, with experience in digital media to grow business within HR Brew through consultative & solutions-based selling. This individual should have a passion for sales partnerships, a drive to relentlessly navigate & network to brand decision-makers, and who constantly seeks to surpass revenue goals and internal expectations.
Morning Brew is based in New York City but this role is remote-friendly for all candidates. We do expect Associate Brand Partners to meet and entertain strategic clients in-person.
HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL BE WORKING ON
Overall
– Identifying and engaging marketing leaders at brands targeting Human Resources decision-makers through a high volume of unique emails per week.
– Managing the full sales cycle from prospecting, outreach, client meeting, media plan building, pitching & closing partnerships.
– Advocating for HR Brew’s offering of ad products that reach decision-makers through engaging & accessible content.
– Understanding and utilizing specific data and audience insights that define Morning Brew’s B2B audience
– In-depth knowledge of B2B marketing tactics (i.e. ABM, lead-gen).
Prospecting, Inbounds & Outreach
– Prospecting net-new business for HR Brew through strategic outreach
– Monitor account inbounds from the HR Brew newsletters and respond to them in a timely manner
Hand-offs, Deal Support and Remnant Inventory Management
– Work directly with your pod’s brand partners to assist on larger, enterprise-level partnerships.
– Monitor upcoming short-term inventory availability and pitch to a set list of partners with pre-approved prices and terms
Client Diligence
– Assist the team with meeting prep and research before client calls
– Manage meeting follow-ups and next steps where applicable
QUALIFICATIONS
– Professional digital or integrated media sales experience (1+ years of media and direct media sales experience)
– Thorough understanding of the full sales cycle and digital media operations. This includes researching, prospecting, outreach, plan building, pitching, negotiating, and closing deals.
– Forecast, track and report on sales performance, meeting quarterly targets set by management.
– Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills. Creativity is also a must.
– Passion for and belief in Morning Brew, its mission and its franchises and products.
COMPENSATION
75k + commission *Final offers for this job will be made within the parameters of the salary range provided, commensurate with experience. Total offer package to include benefits highlighted under our perks section below.
