As an Application Support Assistant, you will provide technical support to the stakeholders on various applications that are launched on the Verra Project Hub.

Specific functions you will be responsible for…

  • Supporting stakeholders to troubleshoot problems in Verra’s Project Hub by consulting user guides, technical manuals, and other relevant documents and implementing appropriate resolutions.
  • Developing and maintaining documentation for all applications hosted on the Verra Project Hub in collaboration with our communications department.
  • Diagnosing, resolving, and reproducing technical problems encountered by users and systematically documenting the problems.
  • Bringing documented issues and problems to technical teams for resolutions.
  • Conducting virtual training for stakeholders on using our applications.
  • Supporting the preparation of our software release plans and preparing a troubleshooting knowledgebase.
  • Staying up to date on the latest software and hardware technologies.

You bring with you…

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field; preference will be given to candidates with relevant industry-recognized certifications.
  • Two years of experience in information technology (IT) operations, programming, systems/software development or another IT related support area.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to explain complex ideas to those with limited IT and systems knowledge.
  • Extraordinary customer service and relationship management experience.
  • Exceptional ability to provide front-end support to Verra’s stakeholders.
  • Advanced proficiency in determining the causes of application errors and repairing them.
  • Proficiency in various applications, such as Microsoft Office Suite.
