The Role:

BrandCycle Inc., a premium sub-affiliate/influencer platform, is looking to hire an Affiliate Marketing Data Specialist to join our growing team for a 100% remote position. The data specialist will be primarily responsible for maintaining the completeness and accuracy of order data across multiple affiliate networks and channels. This role will interact daily with data personnel to support many departments through detail-oriented data work. What You’ll Do:

  • Reconciliation: Comb through large volumes of transaction data on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis to identify and correct discrepancies across multiple channels. This role will work closely with the payments team to ensure complete and accurate balances across the network at all times.
  • Brand Rate Checks: Routinely check that each brand’s current commission rate structures are accurate in BrandCycle’s database.
  • Reporting: Combine data from multiple sources to support the data team and publisher team in building various company reports including Campaign Wrap Reports, Campaign Pulse Checks, Payout Determinations, Premium Publisher Qualifications, Weekly Top SKUs, and more.
  • List Building for Publisher Recruitment: Using predetermined guidelines, sort through multiple sources to compile a list of publishers that would be good recruits for our network.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience working with data
  • Proven experience with order reconciliation, bookkeeping, financial analysis, or accounting is a big plus
  • Extensive knowledge of the affiliate marketing landscape is a plus
  • Knowledge of affiliate networks and SaaS platforms (Tune, Impact, Commission Junction, ShareASale, Awin, Rakuten, Partnerize etc.) is a plus
  • Strong math and analytical skills
  • Expert at Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets at a high level (Pivot tables, XLOOKUPs, etc)
  • Comfortable with new and emerging technology
  • Very technically savvy
  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • Intro Call: You’ll hop on a quick call with the hiring manager so we can get to know you better and you can learn a little more about the role.
  • Homework Assignment: We will send over a quick writing exercise that challenges you to solve a problem and come up with creative solutions. Get a feel for what you’ll be doing on a daily basis!
  • Remote-Team Interview: You’ll be meeting with 2-3 team members on a video call. This is your chance to ask questions and see who this role interacts with on a daily basis.
  • Final Video Call: This is a great opportunity to get to know our CEO over video.
