Technical Project Coordinator/Documentation - Remote

Pay: $55-58 / hourly as W2, full benefits offered

EST hours required

Length of contract: Through November of 2023, possibly the role extends into 2024

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $55 to $58 / hourly as a W2 employee.

Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location. Additional benefits offered may include; medical health insurance and dental insurance, life insurance, and eligibility to participate in a 401k plan with company match.

This role will be supporting a Digital Marketing team of roughly 10-15 people.

The main project needing support is an ongoing upgrade of an online mobile application to a new Platform.

There is also support needed for other needs for this digital marketing team.

The role is a mix of coordinating technical documentation (more editing, not writing content)

Also this role will require some administrative tasks: scheduling meetings / making sure things are covered, getting data and information to colleagues, keeping things organized.

Someone with experience in Jira and Confluence is ideal.

Overall with this project there are 40+ integrations with various 3rd parties. This role will be working with colleagues, explaining how those 3rd party groups integrate, supporting that documentation.

Responsible for the day-to-day tasks and documentation of various digital projects, including site launches, online tools, and web applications.

For this position, we expect you to be a tech-savvy professional with an in-depth understanding of how technology can help us achieve our business goals. You should be methodical and have excellent time management skills, as well as a proven history of creating technical business documentation.

As a Technical Project Coordinator, you should use your communication skills to collaborate effectively with various teams. Ultimately, you should be able to manage and deliver our projects' digital lifecycle within quality, time, and budget requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with internal teams to design, develop and implement digital projects

• Review project plans and monitor progress as needed

• Deliver projects on time, ensuring quality standards are met

• Collect, develop, and review support documentation, including risk logs and requirement specifications; translate business requirements into technical ones

• Reach out to external resources to verify information as needed

• Identify, classify, document, and monitor the requirements business stakeholders have for each project and review how these requirements are implemented

• Communicate with internal departments and ensure all members are on board with delegated tasks and in line with the project plan/scope

• Organize reporting for project meetings and provide updates to project owners and key stakeholders

• Highlight potential risks or malfunctions and act proactively to resolve issues

• Seek opportunities for improvement and suggest solutions

• Assist the Project Owner with the coordination of tasks, resources, and administrative duties as needed

• Assist with other administrative tasks as needed

Requirements:

• Proven work experience as a Technical Project Coordinator

• Solid technical background with an ability clearly defines project requirements based on project scope

• Proven experience developing technical documentation

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a demonstrated ability to write clearly, concisely, creatively, and effectively.

• Hands-on experience with project management software such as Atlassian/Jira is preferred

• Excellent organization and time management skills

• Communication and team management skills

• Ability to multitask effectively.

• Familiarity with Content Management systems and HTML/CSS is a plus

• Familiarity with or a background in Financial Institutions/FinTechs a plus

• Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science, Financial Technology, Digital Marketing, or a relevant field
