Supplier Relations Specialist II

The Supplier Relations Specialist facilitates and maintains relationships between Vetsource and its product suppliers, supporting contract negotiations, creating standards for the suppliers, keeping up to date metrics and Supplier Scorecards. As a part of Commercial Strategy and the Supply Chain teams, they also act as a member of a cross-functional team that will drive growth and value to Vetsource via internal and external partnerships with manufacturers and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Support day-to-day partner account management needs (e.g. progress reporting, tracking invoices and programs, emailing partners, internal and external stakeholder collaboration, troubleshooting)
  • Update and track metrics for weekly performance tracking and Supplier Scorecards
  • Prepare quarterly and as needed reviews to support partners and meetings
  • Create and track scope of works for projects, pilots, promotions, and other agreements
  • Ensure plans are in place and executed on to support projects and pilots with partners
  • Track and audit of partner contracts and reports changes, including notifications of changes to stakeholders
  • Help prepare presentations, meeting agendas, marketing and other proposals
  • Support partner projects and initiatives and other duties as assigned

Required Experience and Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of professional experience in account management, vendor management, or a similar role
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written). Includes effective listening and clear and concise communication skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain positive relations internally and externally.
  • Strong organizational, task and time management skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment including the capacity to start and stop projects seamlessly.
  • Ability to work well both individually and within a team
  • Experienced using email, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft PowerPoint

Preferred Experience and Qualifications:

  • Data and project coordination experience
