About the Role:
CrowdStrike is seeking a full-stack software engineer who wants to work at scale, be challenged, and take on a highly impactful role building one of our newest products.

What You’ll Do:

As part of this team you will have a hand in building new user-facing web experiences as well as the backend systems that power them. Your details-oriented mindset and performance focus will allow CrowdStrike to scale into the future. We build on CrowdStrike’s platform and unmatched threat intelligence capabilities to offer a highly differentiated product and go beyond legacy security products using our AI powered detection systems.

What You’ll Need:
A successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following skills and expertise:

  • 5-7+ years software development experience in a full stack developer role involving backend and frontend coding in SaaS environments.
  • Experience in UI technologies (ReactJS and TypeScript preferred).
  • Experience in one or more high level programming languages (Go preferred)
  • Solid understanding of object-oriented programming
  • Experience with automating workflows & building pipelines with micro-services & APIs.
  • Experience in working with relational and non-relational/NoSQL databases technologies like MySQL, Cassandra, ElasticSearch etc.
  • A solid background in software engineering. This includes good coding standards, source control, documentation of design, issue tracking, and producing results which are supportable.
  • The ability to work across the organization to understand requirements and prioritize them per the overall business goals, communicating those priorities back to the stakeholders.
  • The ability to scale backend systems – sharding, partitioning, scaling horizontally are second nature to you.
  • Deep understanding of distributed systems and scalability challenges, multi-threading, concurrency, and parallel processing technologies.
  • Attention to detail, willingness to learn. Cloud technology is moving quickly. The ideal technical solution may need some research and learning of new components. Openness to learning new languages and technology is key to success.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities in a distributed computing environment.

Bonus Points:

  • Knowledge of IoT/ICS systems and networking protocols used therein.
  • A good working knowledge of Linux and cloud components such as Amazon services.
  • Experience in endpoint security, secure coding & architecture is an added advantage.
  • Familiarity with Agile development concepts. This role requires frequent iterations on features and quick turnaround. Designing for agile style iteration will improve likelihood of success for meeting business timelines.
  • Experience in DevOps and related tools and technologies (Chef, Terraform, Kubernetes etc.)

CrowdStrike, Inc. is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base salary range for this position in the U.S. is $135,000 – $210,000 per year + variable/incentive compensation + equity + benefits. A candidate’s salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location.
