Software Engineer II - (Remote)

As a Software Engineer II you will be a part of a team in a very fast-paced, agile environment that requires strong technical ability, flexibility, sound judgment, and creative thinking. In this role, you will be responsible for working closely with other technologists, architects, experience designers, product marketers, software developers, and validation engineers to create software incubations, reference architectures and software platforms across client, edge, and cloud. Also, you will create the right monitoring and triggering notifications that are actionable and automate the healing process where possible. Key Responsibilities: Create high-volume, low-latency, and highly available services. Work hand in hand with team members around the world to design, build, and deliver innovative applications under tight deadlines. Promote a culture of clean, well-organized, and testable code. Help identity and refactor bad practices through code reviews and analyzing the codebase. Collaborate with development teams and project leadership to define/refine scope, work closely with Product Managers, Scrum Masters, and client stakeholders. Join on-call rotation responsible for investigating and fixing issues with the live services. Get great perks. Demonstrated proficiency in Web and Cloud software development such as C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, Web API(REST), SQL Server, Entity Framework, Angular or ReactJS Knowledge of CI / CD systems and zero downtime deployment techniques Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills Preferred skills and experience: Experience working in Cloud technologies as Azure or AWS Agility to adapt to new environments, technologies, and processes quickly Want to learn more about Staples Stores?
