Senior System Engineer (ServiceNow) - Remote

Position Purpose: Configuration Management Administrator, responsible for maintaining data accuracy and completeness within the company's CMDB (Configuration Management Data Base) environment on the ServiceNow platform This role will require practical knowledge and experience with Configuration and Asset Management processes as well as experience as a ServiceNow Administrator / Developer for the platform. The role also requires functional experience with ServiceNow Discovery and maintaining a mid-server environment and a working knowledge of the Service Mapping process and tools. It is also important to have a good understanding of the CSDM methodology and framework. Most of the challenges this role will face deal with the in-take and reconciliation of data coming into the CMDB, the management and validation of that data, and the mapping of services to the infrastructure the data represents so having practical experience and knowledge is critical for this senior level position. Responsibilities Summary Provides day-to-day leadership and technical support for Configuration Management activities Supports the Configuration manager and process owner in the continued development of CMDB policy, process, and knowledge base Works on Projects and initiatives (development and planning) Assesses and develops solutions and enhancements for service improvements and process enhancements Request fulfillment and Incident troubleshooting Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, related field or equivalent experience 3+ years of practical experience in Configuration Management 5+ years of ServiceNow admin and/or developer experience.
