Senior Salesforce Commerce Cloud Developer, remote, the role:

As Senior Salesforce Commerce Cloud Developer, you will be developing consumer-facing features for our ecommerce websites. You will possess strong experience as a Salesforce Commerce Cloud (B2C) / Demandware developer and the ability to translate business needs and existing site architecture into user-friendly solutions. As a member of the Technology team, you will extensively collaborate with key leaders and stakeholders from across our client's organization, including Brand Marketing, Direct-to-Consumer (DTC), IT, Marketing Technology product owners, and a variety of other Subject Matter Experts (SME).

This candidate can work 100% remotely. This professional must be located in the US.

Works directly with ecommerce product owners, marketing managers, creative design, SME's to provide functional and design guidance to shape, influence, and develop website features.

Leads and provides technical direction to integration partners and cross functional team members.

Builds partnerships with peers and integration partners.

Provide support building and managing deployment processes with Git repositories.

Has broad perspective with providing guidance, designing, and developing salesforce commerce cloud solutions.

Be hands on with service integrations.

Keep up to date with current software development trends and help adopt them where necessary.

Creates solutions that are consumer and business user friendly, provide appropriate level of data validation and system performance.

Be responsible for overall product quality, stability, and continuous improvement of the digital commerce ecosystem.

Support day to day site build and any severity issues.

Bachelor's degree in computer science/engineering or related field, with 5 years relevant work experience in an agency environment or a brand.

4 plus years of development experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (B2C) with a focus on backend development

Experience with Salesforce Page Designer is a plus.

4 plus years of experience working within Salesforce Reference Architecture

Experience working in an Agile environment

Ability to re-engineer and implement an improved SFCC (B2C) Business Manager interface

Strong, in-depth programming skills in NodeJS framework - JavaScript

Experience with front-end development technologies - HTML5, CSS, Bootstrap, JQuery

Strong experience in API's (SOAP/REST) including designing, developing, and consuming Salesforce APIs (REST, SOAP)

Strong understanding of commerce processes including but not restricted to price adjustment, payment capture, fulfillment, inventory management.

Excellent communicator both written and verbal.

Excellent planning, organizational, problem solving and analytical skills.
