Senior Full Stack Developer - Uniq-ID (Remote)

Senior Full Stack Developer - Uniq-ID eScholar - Remote We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer to join our development team. This full-time position will be responsible for development, testing, and documentation for the eScholar Uniq-ID product. The Senior Full Stack Developer must be self-motivated, willing to learn new technologies and must have good written and oral communication skills. The starting salary for this position is between $95,000 - $120,000/year based on experience Primary Responsibilities: Perform technical design for web applications Perform development for front end, back end, and database in accordance with established standards Participate in peer-reviews of solution designs and related code Analyze and resolve application defects Adhere to high-quality development principles Actively learning new technologies Participate daily stand-ups, backlog reviews, sprint planning meetings and other agile meetings Ability to analyze application and performance issues in real time Serve as Level 3 support and handling support activities Perform various ad hoc responsibilities Required Skill and Qualifications: Must possess at least a bachelor's degree or its equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent At least 2 years of experience as a Senior Developer on large scale and complex applications At least 2 years of SQL experience with a relational database, prefer both MSSQL and Oracle. PostgreSQL a plus Excellent knowledge of back-end development in Java, Java8 or higher features such as streams, and Eclipse or IntelliJ Excellent debugging skills - both Java and database-related At least 2 years of experience with front-end development using Vue, NPM, HTML5 / CSS / SCSS / SASS, and JSON API integration Experience with git source code management, GitHub or BitBucket Experience with Jira, Jenkins, and AWS experience Full SDLC experience Experience building/working on large scale transactional systems. Knowledge of Authentication / Authorization methodologies (SSO, AD, LDAP, oAuth) Exemplary written and verbal communication skills Desired Skills and Qualifications: Familiarity with the public and/or higher education sector (highly desirable)
