Title: Senior Front-End Software Engineer (React)
Location: US-Remote
Higher Logic is looking for an eager Senior Front-End Developer who is ready to help grow our platform and build out strong solutions. The role is heavily focused on React front-end development, with the opportunity to dive into the back end from time to time.
Responsibilities:
Work in a multidisciplinary agile team to build and maintain features.
Write code with proper testing and review code of fellow teammates.
Triage and fix bugs.
Translating designs and wireframes into high quality code
Use modern technologies and the latest web standards that scale to serve millions of users and perform well on all kinds of devices and platforms.
Work primarily within the scope of your team, but you’ll also belong to the guild of your craft to enhance the quality and understanding of it through mentorship and sharing experiences.
Guilds are a great place to propose new or updated coding practices, suggest improvements to the architecture and otherwise empower people with knowledge to improve their everyday work.

What we’re looking for:
Knowledge of Agile values and principles.
Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
Strong understanding of prototypical inheritance and object creation
Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles
Strong understanding of React state and ways to handle its asynchronous
Familiarity with RESTful APIs
Experience with modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token
Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git
Desired Qualifications:
In-depth knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, SCSS HTML, and front-end languages.
1+ years’ experience with Typescript
4+ years of experience working with
o React or another major JavaScript Library.
o Modular/Pluggable architecture.
o REST API architecture.
o Modern IDE’s like VSCode, Atom, or Sublime
