Learn more by visiting us at Job Description: The Senior Director role is expected to spend most of their time shaping and leading business transformation programs to address strategic business challenges and deliver the highest quality work to our clients. The remainder of the Senior Director time will be spent identifying and working with leadership to pursue business opportunities to provide value to clients. Responsibilities include: manages end-to-end responsibilities for consulting engagements in areas of control ensures the business viability of complex solutions for Cognizant in key accounts continuously assesses the business for profitability and initiates remedial interventions where needed formalizes best-in-class practices, pursues the development of consulting thought leadership, and participates in industry forums and conferences to establish and enhance Cognizant's brand exercises financial accountability and responsibility for revenues and margin growth in practice area of control ensures appropriate pricing for consultants across engagements and promotes the education of project teams on consultative value establishes and nurtures relationships with client executives in assigned accounts and serves as their trusted advisor builds or facilitates the route to market of innovative practice solutions actively builds the consulting practice community by driving consensus about and standardization on best practices manages and mentors a team of direct reports and the overarching recruitment, onboarding, development, and engagement of consultants. Qualifications: Minimum 12 - 15 years' experience in management consulting with a management and/or technology consulting firm focusing in the Healthcare Provider industry. Minimum 12 years' experience in healthcare industry in a consulting or industry practitioner role. 15 years of executive-level business or operations management experience, including the application of different pricing models, risk management interventions, and resource allocation strategies Experience in managing operations and growing key account business satisfaction, including budget forecasts, and consultant staffing and development Extensive domain, industry, or product certifications in area of practice Strong network of industry connections and presence in professional organizations and industry forums Preferred Requirements: Advanced business degree (MBA), or professional coursework (e.g., CFA / CA), or equivalent experience Work Authorization Cognizant will only consider applicants for this position who are legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship (H-1B, L-1B, L-1A, etc. Cognizant is an Equal Opportunity Employer M/F/D/V Cognizant is recognized as a Military Friendly Employer and is a coalition member of the Veteran Jobs Mission.
