JOB SUMMARY/OVERVIEW

The Senior Digital Designer takes ideas from concept to execution, working with stakeholders cross functionally to finalize the design.

The designer is responsible for interpreting the team’s concepts into an effective digital design while utilizing experience, resources and digital design tools to deliver an excellent user experience.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Brainstorm, design and execute on concepts and content across digital channels.
  • Design lead for wide range of projects including branding, website properties, digital assets, presentations, email, and social campaigns, landing page experience, digital advertising and more.
  • Collaborate and ideate with multidisciplinary team including brand strategists, marketing managers, copywriters to bring concepts to life.
  • Create brand and digital experiences for mobile and desktop properties.
  • Understand how B2B audiences interact with websites, digital ads and understand how to market and engage them.
  • Interpret website data as it pertains to user experience and design
  • Other projects and responsibilities may be added at the manager’s discretion.

JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Bachelor’s degree desired; or equivalent education and/or related work experience.

Training Requirements (licenses, programs, or certificates): None

Experience:

  • Minimum 10 years user experience designer, art director, designer in a creative agency or inhouse.

Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Proven experience managing large projects with ability to design according to business to business and technical requirements and comfortable with ambiguity and changes in direction.
  • Strong knowledge and experience with digital design, layout aesthetics and ability to create designs for different targets.
  • Deep understanding of user experience concepts, heuristics, style guides, systemic design rationale, and an exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong understanding of front-end web and mobile development, including HTML, CSS, iOS and other technologies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Possesses humility, empathy, and high intellectual curiosity.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to communicate cross functionally with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • A demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards and a diverse workplace.
  • Adaptability to the job and working in a fast paced continually changing business and work environment while managing multiple priorities.
  • Proficient in latest website design tools, such as Figma or Sketch
  • Proficient in MAC computers and Microsoft Office Suite

  • No travel required
  • Remote in the immediate time.
  • Once offices open, work in clean, pleasant, and comfortable office setting
